The Role

Hello! We are looking for a senior specialist to join the Red Collar team in the design communications department.

Red Collar has been creating aesthetic digital products for businesses for 12 years. We experiment, make bold decisions, and take responsibility for our actions. Our projects have no "expiration date" — even after many years, they continue to inspire and serve as benchmarks.

Responsibilities:

  • You're a proactive team player skilled at integrating into existing design processes, ready to view them from a new perspective and work on their improvement.
  • You're meticulous and detail-oriented, diving deep into tasks from the acceptance stage, delving into requirements, asking questions, and thinking broadly about the product.
  • As a responsible and empathetic leader, you know how to take charge of a group of designers on a project, plan their work, control the quality of the outcome, listen to their professional needs, and provide assistance where necessary.
  • You're thorough in your approach, understanding that tasks are more than just instructions for action. You always consider the context and surroundings, recognizing when it's essential to grasp the underlying meaning and fill in any gaps in your knowledge.
  • Open to discussion, you're also prepared to initiate it, understanding where transparency is lacking and creating platforms for constructive resolution of emerging issues. You build trustful, collaborative relationships within the workgroup.
  • You're quick to understand, able to decode client desires and bring references that accurately describe their request so the team knows what to do next.
  • You know that the devil is in the details, paying close attention to everything from button rounding to color shades, and instilling this approach across the team. You maintain order in your layouts and files, ensuring anyone on the project can easily navigate them without your help.
  • You can channel creativity in the right direction, familiar with the concept of a constraint corridor, working within it, and shaping it for the team. You understand that a good idea comes through creative sessions and numerous work iterations.
  • You test your solutions, relying not only on your expertise but also on hypothesis testing through UX research.
  • You are professional in communication, interacting with clients and the team consistently, respectfully, and constructively, and presenting your work results. Your statements are always backed by solid arguments, not just words tossed into the wind.

What we expect:

  • Experience of at least 3 years in product development or in an agency working on product projects.
  • Development of mobile applications, web services with complex branching logic, and interfaces for other regularly used platforms with high user load.
  • Creation and support of expansive and documented design systems.
  • Leadership of a design team on a major project for at least six months.
  • A portfolio with a minimum of five commercial projects that demonstrate a high level of visual literacy.
