Position Description:

The Manager is responsible for executing on projects and organization objectives with oversight of supervisory and non-supervisory consultants. This position has a primary focus on ensuring high quality client project delivery and engagement in conformance with ARDX organizational goals and standards.


• Set objectives and SMART goals for the team, and prioritize what work needs to be accomplished in order to meet those objectives and goals

• Responsible for managing resources in accordance with both expense and revenue forecasts established by ARDX for Service Delivery line(s).

• Support government RFIs, RFPs, etc., for proposal solutions and writing to include the orchestration of staff expertise to proposal win themes as well as perform color review teams during bid cycle.

• Organize the work for the team into manageable activities, and select the people to accomplish the tasks that need to be finished

• Serve as senior project leader for the portion of the project that is within the Manager’s area of responsibility; lead the project and take full ownership and independent accountability for project deliverables and outcomes

• Apply facilitation techniques, training, methodology development and evaluation across all phases of analysis, modernization, and improvement projects

• Responsible for ensuring positive Associate experience; maintain onboarding and engagement plans and ensure consistent and effective implementation

• Instill a sense of accountability among team members by modeling tight oversight of individual and organizational performance standards

• Implement and oversee the determined system to evaluate the skill, experience and professional development needs of staff in order to address gaps

• Formulate, affect, interpret and/or implement management policies or operating practices; comply with and enforce policies and procedures

• Provide content expertise in specified areas; provide thought leadership to organization

• Maintain a working knowledge of all areas of content expertise and capability to connect content knowledge, linking contract specific needs and styles to product delivery

• Responsible for continuous learning environment and providing ongoing expertise of governmental, regulatory and compliance matters

• Represent ARDX as needed at meetings and other forums with a variety of agencies, groups and organizations

• Effectively manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines

• Work independently and with minimal direction to develop concepts and relationships that will enable the organization to experience growth; meet all goals, expectations and responsibilities that will maintain and grow current business

• Adhere to the highest ethical standards; complying with all applicable laws andregulations

• Ensure the prevention of fraud, waste and abuse

• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Health, Public Administration or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred

• 8+ years’ experience in government services and 5+ years’ experience in healthcare required

• 3+ years’ leadership experience required

• Current Project Management certification (PMP) required

• Demonstrated ability to function in a leadership role and as an individual contributor

• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

• Effective and efficient time control planning, organization and multi-tasking abilities

• Strong customer-focus orientation and demonstrated ability to apply effective interpersonal skills to manage client requests and demands

• Ability to exhibit confidence, and maintain professionalism, diplomacy and courtesy that is representative of the company’s reputation and culture

• Proficient in MSOffice suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and related tools
