GEICO Billing Team is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and results oriented Manager with a focus on technology and analysis to join our ASD Billing organization.


This position requires excellent leadership and software analysis/development skills. The selected candidate will be a proactive solution-oriented individual with strong communication skills including the ability to successfully interact with all levels of the organization. The successful candidate must be able to lead all aspects of a project, including planning, analysis, delivery, and production support. Must also have the skills and ability to coach and mentor a highly productive team. Creativity, strong problem solving skills, and a passion to drive results are required!

  • The ideal candidate will have minimum 5+ years of IT experience and at least 2 years of experience leading projects and demonstrated team leadership.
  • A track record of successful results and project delivery of high quality, strong project management and organization skills.
  • Strong track record of developing and mentoring others. Team oriented, ability to work through others, and able to earn the respect of others.
  • A track record and aptitude to use data and metrics to identify business and technical problems and make decisions.
  • The candidate must exhibit strong critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills
  • Candidate must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to communicate technical problems to non-technical audiences
  • Creativity and intellectual curiosity - ability to look at problems from a variety of perspectives.
  • Candidate must be willing to contribute as a team player across Billing and other teams, show an appropriate sense of urgency, be able to perform under pressure, multi-task, and understand business needs.

Additional Qualifications:

  • A mastery of GEICO’s Agile Methodology
  • Knowledge of or experience with Object Oriented concepts, .NET frameworks, C#, and SQL Server are a plus. Strong understanding of GEICO’s application design, infrastructure, development processes, and production support processes.

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years large scale IT development experience with a proven track record of success.

2+ years' experience in people management, leading cross functional development teams.

5+ years' experience in Agile frameworks and methodologies.
