As a Senior Manager on the Partnership Management team within our CVS Media Exchange (CMX) business, your goal will be to establish CMX as a crucial partner to large agency holding companies on behalf of a fast-growing retail media arm at the 4th largest company in the US. Your aim is to create and cultivate important agency relationships to help the overall Partnership Management team deliver against revenue growth targets across a portfolio of new and existing accounts through exceptional client service and mutually beneficial partnerships. You’ll also be responsible for managing key accounts related to CMX’s agency partners to ensure that the internal processes you’ll help establish are scalable across the organization while keeping a pulse on this rapidly-changing ecosystem.

As the face of CMX in the market, your ability to drive equity through best-in-class sales and partnership agreements is paramount to our success. You’ll own the agency leadership relationship to facilitate easier transactions with agency client teams to meaningfully grow our base business through education, development and negotiation. In addition, you’ll have the unique opportunity to launch and build internal processes that will lay the foundation for future agency partnership relationships as the CMX business continues to scale. Since you will be managing a select number of key suppliers tied to your top agency partners, you’ll be able to create and monitor new internal processes which will allow you to refine and develop processes as the organization grows. Your agency relationships and digital media acumen will be a lethal combination that inspires CMX differentiation versus our competitive set.

From an education standpoint, you’ll complete Agency RFIs and will work towards getting the agency’s high-level buy-in of CMX’s product and services by helping agencies understand CVS’ unique differentiators and capabilities that will help their clients achieve specific KPIs. You will note significant barriers or challenges against increased agency investment of CMX in order to highlight product and/or process maturation needs to the CMX leadership team and will help the Partnership Management team close deals even when an agency challenge occurs.

Acting as the lynchpin for all key agency-related accounts, you’ll be the CMX Subject Matter Expect (SME) for all things related to your agency partners including business units, clients, mutually aligned T&Cs with the holding company, negotiating updates or changes to T&Cs where applicable and keeping track of agency requests. You’ll work closely with Legal during T&C negotiations and will develop internal processes to ensure compliance with the cross-functional teams. You will leverage your organization and attention-to-detail abilities to the team, acting as the source of truth for agency-related accounts, negotiations and processes.

Reporting to the Director of Partnership Management, you’ll maintain an agency-first approach and will hold the agency relationship in the highest regard. Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 75,400

Maximum: 158,300

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of agency experience
  • 4+ years leading advertising sales agency teams
  • 3+ years of cross-functional leadership experience
  • 2+ years of digital media or retail media experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • C-suite agency contacts across multiple holding companies in charge of developing partnerships with retail media networks
  • Experience driving media revenue across different CPG investment teams /sources with ownership for varying levels of stakeholder relationships
  • Experience working for or closely with a retail media network for 2+ years
  • Knowledge of retail media network self-serving buying platforms and how to onboard agencies
  • Clear understanding of advertiser priorities when buying digital media across onsite, social, and programmatic channels
  • Comfort with presentation, negotiation, and managing expectations with external partners
  • Able to communicate effectively with internal cross-functional teams to ladder up agency requirements and create new internal processes to meet those requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the need to navigate competing priorities while developing relationships with key c-suite agency decision makers
  • Excellent communication skills that can be articulated in both written and oral forms across a diverse audience base
  • Self-motivated, high-capacity person who can function and win in a demanding, performance-driven environment


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field OR equivalent (HS Diploma + 4 years of relevant experience) required.
  • MBA preferred.
