Sr. Manager, Business Development (Fintech)

This is an integral, highly visible role contributing to the overall success of the Business Development team at ServiceTitan. This individual will assess and optimize ServiceTitan's fintech portfolio of partnerships and integrations (payments, lending, etc.) that drive immense value to our customers and ServiceTitan. This individual has a well-rounded background -- including new business development and strategic partnership management -- and is able to navigate through complex, ambiguous opportunities effectively. The ideal candidate is highly motivated to drive new growth opportunities by optimizing existing partnerships and building new ones in support of company strategy.

As a Sr. Manager, Business Development (Fintech), you will:

  • Drive end-to-end partnership strategy and execution across the fintech portfolio: identifying and evaluating prospective partners, driving quantitative analyses, discussing commercial terms, structuring agreements, building relevant assets for all communications, and project planning for all stages of a partnerships lifecycle
  • Build strong relationships with partners' executives and other key stakeholders to advance mutually beneficial programs and solutions
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Product, Engineering, Sales, Legal, Finance) to align on business needs, implications, financial impact, and execution requirements for partnership opportunities
  • Collaboratively influence product strategy through a partnership and ecosystem lens.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Minimum 5+ years of work experience in business development / strategic partnerships, growth, strategy, or similar role building and managing strategic relationships
  • Some exposure / experience in fintech (payments, lending, banking, etc.) preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate with executives at every level
  • Comfort with ambiguity in a dynamic working environment; know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to document key details in a digestible format
  • Excellence in cross-functional communication, with the ability to simplify and explain complex problems to stakeholders of all levels
