Job Description

As a Product Designer at Numerator, you will work on high-impact, high-visibility projects. You will contribute to all aspects of the design process, with an emphasis on interaction and visual design. You will assist product teams by helping them navigate ambiguity through a range of UX skills, including ideation, rapid-prototyping, and development of our design system. You are resourceful, motivated, and a self-starter who thrives on complex challenges. You have strong time management skills and are at ease in a fast-paced Product environment. As a Product Designer, you will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other designers, effortlessly articulating your design decisions with your stakeholders and evangelizing best practices at any given opportunity. This role reports into the Head of Product Design.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively seeks out and uses research and data to inform design decisions
  • Utilizes wireframes and whiteboards to articulate complex design concepts
  • Delivers pixel-perfect visual prototypes, incorporating current trends and best practices
  • Identifies and delivers all states of for any UI components, interactions, and flows
  • Iterates through design cycles quickly with stakeholders
  • Contributes to and advances the design system
  • Advocates best design practices across the organization

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong understanding of data visualizations and and dashboarding
  • Advanced knowledge of Figma and Adobe CC
  • Understanding of and experience working in design systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for identifying and solving user problems
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, highly-dynamic environment
