PushBlack, the largest nonprofit media platform for Black people, builds deep, daily relationships with Black-Americans through their phones in order to transform Black civic engagement.

PushBlack attracts and engages Black people through its innovative daily Black history and news service, which is based on SMS and Facebook Messenger. With this daily relationship, PushBlack encourages its subscribers to take action on critical issues.

By providing Black history to the masses, we are literally putting power in the hands of the people. This has made us the premier mobile source of information and action for Black folks around the country.
