Account Executive - Accounting Automation

We’re seeking an experienced Account Executive to contribute to our growing and talented sales team. If you are a hunter, excel at presenting SaaS solutions to prospects, and have proven success as a consistent closer than we are interested in talking to you. Our ideal candidate will effectively communicate Docyt’s unique value proposition with clients, research and connect with prospective leads, develop and foster business relationships with key stakeholders while ultimately managing the entire sales process with a strong emphasis on new business sales.

This person will have the ability to quickly switch gears between projects to accommodate our fast-paced environment and provide quick ticket problem-solving. Docyt, pronounced “docket”, is a FinTech startup headquartered in Silicon Valley, that is passionately focused on giving businesses control of their financial data. While great strides have been made in sending and receiving payments, businesses still struggle to aggregate all their financial data, understand it, and use it to make well-informed, timely decisions. Docyt is a super app that applies AI (artificial intelligence) across the entire accounting tech stack. Docyt digitizes financial data, automates both income and expense workflows, continuously reconciles your general ledger, integrates with QuickBooks®, and generates real-time financial statements. Requirements

  • Our ideal candidate will act as the face of the company, create strong relationships with clients, and will apply effective sales strategies while promoting the financial growth of the company
  • Identify target prospect accounts and contacts in key vertical markets and own the entire end-to-end sales process
  • Research prospect companies and strategically plan sales discussions that add value to the client’s business in alignment with Docyt’s solutions
  • Consult with potential customers to understand their needs; identify and suggest products or services that will meet those needs
  • Prepare and present compelling customer sales proposals
  • Maintain expected sales activity to meet or exceed sales/revenue goals and performance expectations
  • Attend trade association meetings and industry conferences as needed

What were looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of closing sales experience in a business-to-business (B2B) setting is required
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills
  • Outstanding ability to explain technical products to a non-technical audience
  • Creativity to approach sales and build customer relationships in new and innovative ways
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Business Administration, Sales or related field
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as Hubspot
  • You prioritize accountability and honesty, building trust with your teammates and customers by consistently delivering results.
