Account Executive, APJ Enterprise Sales

As part of our continued growth in Asia Pacific Japan (APJ), PagerDuty has an outstanding opportunity for an Account Executive covering the Enterprise Segment (USD $2B+ annual revenue) across the Asia region. The role will involve selling into predominantly new and some existing PagerDuty customers.

You will need the DNA of a highly driven entrepreneur, driving sales from the ground up with excellent client engagement skills. You will also have the ability to effectively collaborate with PagerDuty’s Sales and Solution Consulting teams along with the Services team to design proposals, build pipeline and close deals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set territory strategy through research & analysis of potential within existing customer base and prospects
  • Develop deeply integrated partnerships maintaining relationships at Executive level & IT Management
  • Effectively partner with PagerDuty’s Services team to cross sell & upsell to existing customers by finding new groups of users and or use cases for PagerDuty
  • Collaborate with Customers to develop quantifiable business cases
  • Collaborate with Solution Consulting teams to validate the benefits of PagerDuty’s technical capabilities
  • Coordinate Sales Development and marketing teams to generate new opportunities in your target accounts
  • Maintain detailed deal related activity documentation in Salesforce.com for all lead management and sales forecasting

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Tech savvy salesperson with a consultative sales approach, a successful track record of hunting and farming in Enterprise accounts.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas in Enterprise Accounts
  • Enjoys introducing new business processes & best practices through consultative selling
  • Excellent communicator who is able to effectively partner with key external and internal stakeholders to deliver results
  • Build credibility with technical functions such as Engineering, Infrastructure, Security and Customer Service while able to translate complexity into business value at Executive level
  • Knows the value of your time, qualifying deals judiciously
  • Strong Relationships with companies (Rolodex) that can be leveraged by PagerDuty
  • You know and understand our space (or you’re already a fan of our product!)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years technical B2B sales experience in quota carrying role
  • Prior Salesforce.com experience
  • Technical product demo experience, selling to technical audience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience selling cloud-native, multi-product SAAS solutions ( DevOps, AI Ops, Process Automation and Business Operations) 
  • Proven performance within a high-growth technology company
  • Business-level fluency in Korean or Thai preferred
