Position Summary:

The A1 Account Executive (AE) supports partners segmented into the A1 Customer Cohort in selling Pax8 Services to their end customers. They help assess partner and customer needs, speak to services and solutions, and develop strong relationships with assigned customer base. The Account Executive has a strong understanding of every partner they work with.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Takes ownership and manages sales cycle, identifying prospects and closing new business with the primary goal of driving revenue and increasing Pax8 market share
  • Utilizes the Pax8 sales methodology and manages a six-month funnel
  • Builds relationships with partner sales teams to strategize new sales opportunities
  • Establishing a recurring meeting cadence with different individuals at your partner’s organization.
  • Identifies and understands the partner’s business objectives and serves as a cloud technology expert providing business solutions to resolve the partner’s pain points
  • Participating in team meetings and involvement with developing the territory, and collaborating with other departments at Pax8.
  • Coordination with SMEs and driving revenue (Facilitating 1:1s) with POD Team
  • Travel to partner offices and events within defined territory

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • Must at least be a Sales Individual Contributor Level 5 with at least one (1) year at Pax8
  • At least four (4) years of channel sales experience (VAR, Distributor, MSP, Vendor experience preferred
  • Thrives in an energetic, competitive atmosphere
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • A team player that is accountable for their own results
  • Ability to consistently achieve revenue targets
  • Experience handling opportunities from discovery to close won
  • Experience & Understanding with Force Management Methodology Preferred
  • Open to working in-person with select partners on a quarterly basis and developing in-person sales skills
  • Ability to acquire and/or demonstrate a solid understanding of business technology products and services for categories such as Productivity, Infrastructure, Continuity, Operations, Network & Connectivity, and Security, and can speak to the Platform Services and Partner Services we offer.

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
  • MS Certification or ability to obtain certification within 6 (six) months of being hired

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $136,500 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
