It is in this context that we are looking for an Account Executive - UK & Ireland. Your reason for being at JAVELOT is as follows:
As an Account Executive working in the international development team,reporting to the Head of International development, you’re responsible for sourcing and bringing to signature projects in the UK & in Ireland.
Your missions include, among others:
- You identify the target accounts in your territories
- You proactively contact your target accounts via phone and emails
- You qualify the needs of target accounts and qualify your deals with the MEDDIC methodology
- You lead demos and workshops supported by Operations teams
- You manage sales cycles end-to-end
- You work closely with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction during the projects implementation
- You keep opening doors and filling your pipeline with new opportunities
- You regularly organize and participate in business development trips
- You represent Javelot at industry events
- You stay up to date with the geopolitical and geostrategic aspects of the cereals and entertain relationships with key stakeholders in the region
- You will support Javelot achieve its objective to monitor 25% of grain stored in Europe by end of 2026
Requirements
Who you are:
- You have experience in sales and/or business development, ideally at a tech or service supplier in the farming industry, or at a farming cooperative or grain trading company
- You have managed complex sales cycles and ideally have applied the MEDDIC and SPIN methodologies. If you have not worked with such methodologies, you’re eager to learn them!
- You are able to drive pipeline generation and conversion by yourself
- You wish to contribute to change the industry and support its energetic and technological transition
- You are looking for a healthy and dynamic work environment to take your next challenge
- You have a great sense of communication, initiative, innovation, negotiation and curiosity, that will allow you to perform in this position
- You are sensitive to the issue of eco-responsibility and want to give meaning to your function
- You’re a self starter who doesn’t wait for a project to be given to them to get active
- You have a pedagogical spirit
- You speak English fluently
