If you are located in Lexington, KY, you will have the flexibility to Work from home and the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports for Taft Hartley Trust Funds.
- Create, document, review and approve journal entries
- Analyze investment statement activity and reconcile for journal entries
- Process payments and retrieve required statements from websites.
- Reconcile, analyze, and review general ledger accounts for trustee meetings and audit
- Analyze and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial position
- Assist with or lead the month end quarterly close process for assigned groups with deadlines
- Work with external auditors

Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university
- Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel as well as proficiency in other Office applications preferably Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics.
