Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in running the day-to-day PCM (pharmacy and client payments) striving for operational excellence and improving our Net Promoter Scores
- Partner with other departments, including Retail Network Ops, Provider Relations, Claims Operations and IT for payment batch/checks monitoring, payment tracer questions and other ad hoc processes
- Assists in the audit process and work with outside auditors regarding accounting and reporting issues
- Assist with complex reconciliations that involve Billing and Payment data. In addition, perform, analyze, and report on findings of the reconciliation
- Resolve high level financial reporting issues
- Prepares reporting for client performance guarantees and CMS/state regulators for prompt pay compliance
- Generate standard and ad hoc reports as required
- Develop innovative approaches for continued improvement in efficiency and effectiveness
- Assist with data mining/reporting in claims data warehouse via online reporting tools, MS excel, and MS access
- Develop and maintain internal control structure and procedures for financial reporting
- Review the work of others, serve as a mentor/leader, and sought out as an expert on complex or critical issues
- Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation
- Assist with the month and quarterly end close process for assigned businesses or groups
- Performs work in a self-directed manner and works with less structured, more complex issues

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of Accounting experience
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior PCM experience
- Healthcare accounting experience
- Experience in large matrix organizations
- Data mining/query, analytics, experience with MS office, Oracle, Noetix, ServiceNow, Peoplesoft, Hyperion SmartView/Essbase, and Blackline a plus
- Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues
- Solves complex problems on own; proactively identifies new solutions to problems
- Solid analytical skills: detail oriented, as well as ability to see ‘big picture’
- Ability to work and contribute in a team environment, as well as work independently
- Takes initiative and accountability for work product and able to meet deadlines
- Plans, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet established objectives
