We are seeking a proficient Accounting Co-op who is eager to collaborate with our team, either virtually or in proximity to any of our office locations across the country.
Key Responsibilities
Interact with each team in accounting exploring the full cycle process of a private service industry accounting department. Teams you will be participating with:
- Project Accounting Team: Handles cash receipts; client and project creation; invoicing clients; accounts receivable collections; and project financial health
- Accounts Payable Team: Manages incoming invoices from trade and subconsultant vendors; payment processing; and account reconciliations
- Finance Team: Month End Close; Balance Sheet account reconciliations; Income Statement trend analysis and research
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- 4th or 5th year of a bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft products including Excel; Outlook; Teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Some experience with accounting software
- Available for 4 – 6 months
