About the Role

As an Accounting Manager you will own the growth and maintenance of the entire Americas region by optimizing and maintaining processes, supporting our Americas employees, and ensuring good business standing throughout the region. 

To drive success in this role, you will have an internal stakeholder mindset, strong project management skills, and a team-first perspective. As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee and elevate the day-to-day operations of the Americas Finance function, oversee the financial reporting and month-end close activities, manage the financial accounting team, and act as the core liaison for auditors, tax advisors, and local banks. Regular collaboration with Legal, People, Revenue & Billings, and other members of the Financial Accounting team will be key in ensuring a best-in-class Americas Finance team and a broader global Finance team are achieved. 

What will your day look like? You will...

  • Autonomously run the day-to-day operations of the Financial Accounting function for the Americas region, including accounting, AR, AP, cash management, expense management, payroll, and internal controls and recordkeeping
  • Own end-to-end month-end close processes, including accruals, bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and overall process improvement as we scale the Americas region
  • Manage tax compliance process and maintain good standing with federal, state, and local tax authorities
  • Support in the formation of IPO ready internal controls and policies
  • Working with IT to develop and maintain connections with other applications within our technology stack
  • Ensuring strong system controls over UAR, change management, and segregation of duties are maintained and enforced

To help us level up, you'll ideally have:

  • 4-8 years of Accounting experience, (mix of public and private accounting experience, a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, financial processes (monthly close, financial reporting, A/R, A/P, cash management, etc.), uncanny organizational skills, and the ability and drive to solve complex problems every day
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license
  • Experience working with early to mid stage growth companies, a plus
  • Prior experience as a NetSuite administrator, a plus

*The salary range for this role in NYC is between $100,000 and $150,000. All roles are eligible to receive equity.
