Infinite Reality has an immediate opening for an Accounting Manager. The position will be remotely based in the continental United States. The Accounting Manager position will be a key member of the Company’s accounting function and will have the opportunity to work in a challenging and engaging environment.

The Accounting Manager will be a part of a team that plays a critical role in developing and supporting the achievement of financial and operational objectives across Infinite Reality companies by creating and providing relevant, timely, and actionable reporting to senior executives. The Accounting Manager will also be involved in the development of financial reporting and possible systems development initiatives. This role will play an integral part in providing accurate information and analysis to help report and understand historical financial performance and assist others, including leadership, to use that to improve future performance.

The Responsibilities:

  • Create / post general journal entries and reconcile key balance sheet accounts
  • Assist in day-to-day operational needs, including overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable staff, expense management, and vendor management
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, including general journal entries, account reconciliations, and accrual schedules, while ensuring compliance with local accounting requirements and internal policies
  • Work with leadership to develop financial reporting to include specific information, reports, and processes that ensure all third-party financial requirements are always met in a timely manner
  • Assist in the Company’s audit process, assisting the Controller in preparing and providing audit support in an accurate and timely manner
  • Enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency of the accounting function
  • Document, maintain, and improve processes and internal controls

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting (or other relevant competency)
  • CPA certification and Masters degree preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant public accounting and/or corporate accounting experience required.
  • Understanding of GAAP and the ability to use technical accounting knowledge to dig deep into the details to understand the accounting process at the Company.
  • Strong accounting, quantitative analysis, and self-sufficient report-writing skills required, prior consolidating/consolidated financial statement and international experience preferred.
  • Experience with modern and relevant software including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience working with Quickbooks Online required, with a preference towards experience migrating from Quickbooks to enterprise accounting software such as NetSuite.
  • A willingness to roll up sleeves and get in the details. Must have the ability to research previous transactions, methods, and financial reports to ensure consistency with practices.
