Accounts Payable Analyst
As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will play a pivotal part in HackerRank's mission to “Accelerate the World’s Innovation”. You are excited to make an impact and enjoy invoicing customers and recording revenue. The Finance team is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. This is a strong career progression opportunity as a part of a rapidly growing company. This position is full-time and Remote within India. Additionally, this person will support senior leadership by assisting with audit requests, quarter-end close, and other demands as they arise. The role reports to our Manager of Accounting. It is a great fit for a highly motivated individual who takes the initiative to solve problems and enjoys the opportunity to improve existing processes.
What you will be working on:
- Ensure contracts/SOWs/service agreements align with invoices before processing.
- Perform full cycle AP: Obtain invoice approvals from management, enter invoices into the system
- Collect IRS requirements (W9) before setting up vendors
- Manage travel expenses and users using Navan
- Bank reconciliations through NetSuite.
- Month-end close experience
- Process 1099 forms and perform other year-end tasks
- Various ad hoc reporting as requested.
We are looking for:
- 2+ years’ experience in processing and payment of invoices in multiple currencies
- Proven experience within a high-volume accounts payable environment
- Must have strong General Ledger skills, including prepaid, fixed assets, accruals, analysis and reconciliations.
- Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management and co-workers. Be a team player.
- Strong technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with NetSuite, Payoneer and Airbase.
- Detail oriented
Nice to have:
- Experience/exposure with US compliance regarding AP (1099, W9, W8)
- Working for a US-based companies
