Accounts Receivable Manager

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Accounting team at Labelbox. In this IC role, we are looking for a high-energy, hands-on individual that can work independently and collaboratively with internal and external business partners. The Accounts receivable manager will report to the Sr Finance Director/Accounting Manager.
Your Day to Day
Accounts Receivable (AR) Accounting:
- Strong comprehension of revenue recognition according to GAAP and IFRS.
- Responsible for A/R journal entries for billing, revenue, and collections.
- Prepare and maintain subscription and services revenue waterfall.
Billing Systems Administration:
- Manage Stock Keeping Units (SKU) in the accounting and billing systems.
- Administer Sales and Use Tax (SUT) processes.
- Handle accounts receivable in QuickBooks Online (QBO), including credit memos and write-offs.
Billing Operations:
- Process sales deals through Salesforce (SF).
- Generate invoices and dunning letters.
- Oversee supplier portal onboarding and invoicing activities.
- Manage and report Stripe credit card transactions through an accounting lens.
- Manage and review services revenue with third-party service partners.
Cash & Collections:
- Responsible for cash application using 2 or 3-way matching methods.
- Manage accounts receivable aging reports with CFO.
- Calculate and report on Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and collection metrics.
- Prepare and manage collection forecasts on a weekly basis.
About You
- At least 5+ years of A/R accounting working in high growth and rapid change software subscription and services (both managed and professional services).
- Technical revenue accounting experience including ASC 605-6 and revenue waterfall schedules.
- Experience with ERP systems of Quickbooks, Maxio, Avalara, and Salesforce preferred.
- Proficiency in Google docs and sheets and Microsoft Office is required.
- Process oriented with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to field billing and collection inquiries including phone calls and emails.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
- Comfortable with rapid change of the business while maintaining accuracy and timeliness of A/R.
- Experience with early and mid size startups.
