Agile DevSecOps Software Engineer

Our Architecture Runway team within the Mission Planning Element of the AEHF Program is looking for an experienced DevSecOps software engineer to transform our program’s development and deployment capabilities.
The candidate will have experience with containerization to move our .NET microservices architecture into EGS (Enterprise Common Ground) compliance. This position will allow the candidate to grow their career by learning many modern DSO tools and processes while gaining experiences from seasoned engineers on the program.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:
- Previous DevOps experience
- Experience with Docker and Containerization
- Linux (preferably RHEL/CentOS 7 & 8)
- Agile Methodology
- Final DOD Secret or Initial Top-Secret or Final Top Secret security clearance is required to start
Desired Skills:
- Basic Understanding of System Scripting (bash, PowerShell, batch, etc.)
- Basic Understanding of writing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD Pipelines
The following skills are desired, not required for the position:
- Understanding of containerization – experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker
- Building DevOps CI/CD pipelines – experience with scripting and Gitlab
- Working Knowledge of DevSecOps/DevOps Practices
- Working knowledge of Container Orchestration such as Kubernetes
- Familiarity integrating DevOps tools into end to end pipelines
- Windows
- Familiarity with automated deployment
- Familiarity with working in a Microservice environment (.NET and Angular)
- Familiarity with Test automation
- Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with Agile management tools (Jira, Confluence, GitLab)
- Experience with version control tools (Git)
- Visual Studio
