API Developer (PHP/Laravel)

Jalasoft is seeking a skilled API Developer with expertise in PHP and Laravel to join our talented team of developers. As an API Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable RESTful APIs for our various software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of APIs, and work closely with front-end developers to create seamless user experiences. Requirements
- Must Have:
- Extensive experience in building APIs using PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Proficiency in PHP 7+.
- Demonstrated ability to create new APIs from scratch.
- Strong command of MySQL 5.7+, including handling complex queries.
- Advanced understanding of development best practices, design patterns, SOLID principles, and coding standards.
- Experience managing queues for efficient API request handling.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery.
- Skilled in CSS/SASS styling for user interface development.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Nice to Have:
- Proven working experience with ReactJS.
- Familiarity with the Bootstrap framework.
- Experience implementing rate-limiting techniques to manage API access and prevent saturations
