The Finance team for PGIM is seeking an action-oriented individual with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong decision-making abilities to fill the Associate Manager, Planning & Analysis opening. Your role on this team will be to oversee PGIM’s strategic initiatives and cost optimization projects. This person will be responsible for tracking and monitoring PGIM’s strategic initiatives portfolio, and will liaise between the business unit finance teams, Prudential’s Transformation Office, and senior leadership. This role will involve meeting deadlines timely and accurately, insightful analysis of business drivers, and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Producing quarterly reporting and analysis dashboards/presentations for management related to cost optimization, which will include supporting the market competitiveness initiative
  • Coordinating PGIM’s expense cost optimization efforts by acting as the main liaison between the corporate Transformation Office Finance team and the PGIM business unit finance teams
  • Working closely with PGIM’s Strategy team to track, analyze, and report on PGIM’s strategic initiatives portfolio; craft and maintain reporting and analysis dashboards shared with PGIM’s executive team
  • Collaborating with PGIM Finance teams to identify, report, and analyze strategic initiatives, including creating multi-year forecasts and tracking key performance indicators
  • Driving PGIM-wide participation in Asset Management industry strategic surveys (i.e., McKinsey), and assisting with the production of results packages for review with PGIM senior leaders
  • Supporting various COPM actuals and forecast analysis and reporting deliverables
  • Assisting with special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed
  • Identifying opportunities for automation and determining innovative ways to streamline processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate business and financial results
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, or related
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong ability to analyze data and the underlying drivers of financial results
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively and team-oriented
  • Highly motivated and creative problem solver, strategic thinker, and demonstrate ability to thoughtfully analyze, assess, and influence
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

The salary range for this role is from $86,300.00 to $128,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
