An Associate Creative Director (ACD), Sr Copywriter in the Creative Studio is responsible for guiding and creating compelling brand stories, campaigns and other marketing communications as integral expressions of the brand strategy. You’ll deliver brand-building, big ideas, putting your gift of the written word to work across mediums. You’ll partner with other Creative Studio team members dreaming up ridiculously big ideas and collaborate to translate ideas to visual stories. The ideal candidate will have experience working on various forms of writing and initiatives and understand how and why ideas, content and experiences are shared and talked about. You should know what captures attention across paid, earned, shared, and owned media, and how those things are made and come to life. Highlights of your role

  • Collaborate with business partners to uncover the human truths already living within the brand, that will drive the most connection for our audience(s).
  • Develop creative concepts and copy for a wide range of initiatives that span all facets of the Marvin business from products and brand to employee communications and more.
  • Maintain a consistent voice for the brand while still writing copy that feels fresh, new, and relevant to Marvin’s target audiences and reflects brand positioning and strategy.
  • Work with design team counterparts to ensure copy inspires and ties to visuals in context across any and all mediums.
  • Work closely with the Marvin digital team to translate success metrics into actionable creative opportunities like integrating SEO keywords and best practices into your writing to improve organic search visibility.
  • Interview and consult with subject-matter experts to understand Marvin products and services to create clear and engaging messaging and storytelling.
  • Story-minded: telling brand and product stories through the lens of entertainment and engagement especially in social, advertising, and experiential opportunities.

You're a good fit if you have

  • The ability to leverage feedback quickly to further develop and refine concepts.
  • Deep understanding of translating business objectives and audience insight(s) into creative strategies and concepts.
  • An innate curiosity to learn, create and understand industry trends, storytelling and engagement platforms, etc.
  • Presentation charisma that inspires teammates, cross-functional partners, and clients to ultimately gain buy-in of a given idea or concept.
  • Masterful skillset in writing, concepting, building story frameworks, and extending an idea for multiple touchpoints within a given project.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., journalism, English, creative writing or advertising) is required and you must be able to demonstrate progressive experience writing content across a variety of channels.
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite and other digital tools.
  • A broad portfolio showcasing your versatility of voice and tone as well as types of work.
  • 10+ years of experience working within creative agency environment.
