Associate Director, Analytical Product Management

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership for the product management function for the value stream
  • Identify best practices to leverage across teams and train for continuous improvement standards, communications, and escalation processes.
  • Manage and follow operational policies and procedures including documentation and training
  • Facilitate collaboration among project teams to problem solve and remove roadblocks to delivery for the Agile Release Train (ART)
  • Partner with the Business Owner on roadmaps, MVPs, and product specifications for the ART
  • Constantly solicit user feedback and look for opportunities to incorporate them into product roadmap.
  • Responsible for defining and supporting the building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable large-scale business solutions that meet client needs within the ART.
  • Work closely with Ratings Technology teams to define product requirements and provide context for the ART’s goals and priorities
  • Own, define and prioritize the ART epics and backlog (features).
  • Serve as point of contact for escalations, project issues, and risks and resource constraints.
  • Communicate project deliverables, status, and dependencies across stakeholder groups.
  • Responsible for ART deployment signoffs
  • Own and manage the successful execution of all ART initiatives, working actively with teams to align expectations, facilitate communications and drive delivery.
  • People Management: Provide direct coaching and feedback for all Product Owners within the ART.
  • Work closely with each ART Lead to develop and implement talent strategy for developing team members and targeting hiring to meet the needs of the Product Management organization.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Product Management certification(s) preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully building teams and driving culture across a large organization
  • Overall 10+ years experience in product management, preferably with managerial experience
  • Experience in product management within an Agile/SAFe Agile framework
  • Knowledge of Ratings Services’ global regulatory landscape and how that translates into operating principles and practices
  • Knowledge of the industry competitive landscape as well as S&P Global Ratings’ business and products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Innovative and effective problem-solving skills
  • Growth mindset
  • Data-driven approach to decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and influence people in a matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated experience in risk assessment and management
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with cross-functional/ global teams
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree

The Location: Open to Hybrid in-office or full-time Remote candidates who are located in the EST/EDT and/or CST/CDT.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $103,800 to 206,350. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
