Associate Editor
CFRA, a global leader in financial intelligence solutions and independent insights, is looking for a full-time proofreader/copy editor to join our global team. You’ll work side-by-side with our global team of analysts and strategists, shaping our thought leadership. The ideal candidate is a determined perfectionist with strong knowledge of financial and investing terminology, comfort with editing not only text but also charts and tables (with some graphic design skills), and a passion for quality. Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-6 years’ experience as an editor and/or reviewer in a deadline-focused environment
- Stellar editing skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and other widely used common desktop applications for the financial services industry
- Exceedingly detail oriented
- Strong knowledge of investment fundamentals, economic concepts, and sector and industry fundamentals and analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team
- Foreign Language and/or Translation experience recommended
- Independent prioritization of work in accordance with established guidelines and deadlines
- Excellent judgment
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Desire to help build and grow CFRA’s Fundamental Equity and Forensic Accounting businesses as well as recently established Policy and Technical Research arms
