Founded in 2017, Laka set out to transform insurance by connecting passionate cyclists to form a collective and protect their bikes for when things go wrong - a better model for insurance was born. For once people come first in insurance by fairly sharing the cost amongst each other. We exist to rewrite the rules of insurance so itβs something people stand with, not against.
Our model: Laka makes sure everything runs smoothly for The Collective - from exceptionally fast claims, splitting the cost fairly, guaranteeing a maximum price and all the other heavy lifting of a regulated insurance business. For that service, the collective pays Laka a fee relative to the claims in a month.

π€πΌ The role
As Laka continues to grow and lines up many exciting EU/UK partners, we are looking for a Partner Marketing Specialist to join us. With at least five years of experience in partner/account-based marketing and hopefully a language skill or two, you will be an expert in scaling accounts, supporting account management teams and spotting monetisation opportunities.
Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial, you will work within the Marketing team but collaborate very closely with the wider Commercial team to manage marketing initiatives for partners.
This brand new role is an important addition to our growing, data-oriented team, surrounded by content writers, acquisition specialists and territory managers.
What you'll be getting up to:
- Working with the product and commercial teams to improve positioning and articulate competitive differentiation that appeals to our βideal customer profileβ
- Creating and implementing partner marketing plans (e.g. customer journeys, conversion optimisation, marketing plans and budget responsibility)
- Working with Marketing, Sales, Product and Design to produce quality product storytelling
- Gathering and utilising customer and market research to drive compelling messaging and influence product strategy
- Producing partner-related marketing to build awareness and confidence in partner channels
- Working closely with Marketing & Sales on collateral for effective enablement and funnel nurturing to improve pipeline conversion and velocity
- Owning and improving all product-related content, including our website, emails, blog posts, webinars, product videos, and more
- Promoting partner engagement and B2B2C through planning and producing awareness & consideration assets / events
- Reporting & analysing partner program performance to measure impact of marketing activity
Location: we're happy for this role to be based anywhere in the UK or the Netherlands, with the potential for occasional travel to our offices (London, Bristol & Amsterdam)
Requirements
ππ» This role will be a great fit if you:
- Have proven experience in marketing, preferably working in partner marketing, brand partnerships, or channel marketing roles
- Have deep understanding of the motivations for why organisations develop strategic partnerships and the various marketing tactics that improve the impact
- Have experience in product marketing
- Are highly organised and comfortable handling multiple work streams at once
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Speak an additional language - French or German [or both] are desired
