Medix Infusion provides personalized home and in suite infusion therapy services for patients with chronic or acute conditions. Our expert team is dedicated to making each patient’s journey as easy as possible. We provide medical infusion therapies, including anti-infectives, biologics, IVIG, and other injectable and infusion treatments.

Job requirements

Work Experience Requirements

  • 1-2 years Billing and Coding Experience Required
  • Knowledge of HCPC, CPT and ICD-10 coding
  • Knowledge of payor guidelines
  • Infusion Therapy experience preferred

  • Disciplined work ethic with ability to work remotely with little direct supervision to meet production
  • Critical thinker and problem solver with great attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and utilize time efficiently
  • Basic math skills

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review information from electronic medical records in patient account (IE: auth, benefit verification, orders, notes, etc.) to ensure preparation and submission of clean claims.
  • Resolve rejected electronic claims so that current submission is successful and future submissions are not rejected.
  • Manually process any claims that are not eligible for electronic submission.
  • Daily review and follow up of unbilled appointments in scheduler and ready to bill queues.
  • Performs other tasks or special projects as assigned
