We’re an opinionated company making a meaningful investment in content marketing. We’ve got a well-defined content strategy and a content map centered around software testing and QA topics — now we’re looking for experienced freelance writers from the B2B SaaS industry to help us execute.
You’ll report directly to Austin-based Head of Marketing, Mike Sonders. Mike has a deep background in content marketing, so you can look forward to a shared understanding of the work and its challenges, fruitful exchanges of ideas, and constructive encouragement to push yourself to improve and grow.
Requirements
- You have 3+ years of experience writing long-form content in the B2B SaaS industry.
- You're deeply familiar with the software development lifecycle.
- You have a curious mind. You love improving your understanding by interviewing people about their insights and experiences.
- Your writing reflects thinking that's logical, structured, and clear.
- You want to improve your writing by working closely with an editor.
- You're a native English speaker located within U.S. or European time zones.
Bonus points
- You've marketed to developers and/or product managers.
- You have a record of driving signups or free trials with product-led content.
- You have a strong grasp of modern SEO best practices and experience with SEO tools like Clearscope.
