Our Values and Leadership Behaviors

Position Overview

EcoATM is seeking a talented, experienced Brand Graphic Designer to join our Brand Marketing team. The ideal Brand Graphic Designer has a world-class graphic design background, loves creating for social, crafting videos and motion graphics, and has a deep understanding of designing for web. The ideal candidate is ready to build the visual brand, not just design ads, and has the experience at a premier agency and/or in-house with a well-loved brand to back it up.

Responsible for preserving and evolving the look and feel of both EcoATM and Gazelle, our Brand Graphic Designer will help us to maintain unique flavors for each brand as we look to elevate our creative ambitions and our sustainability bona fides in our communications.

To be successful, you will need to have an intuitive understanding of marketing and advertising, great design skills and fundamentals, a strong eye for digital media, and experience creating a huge variety of visual asset types. If you’re ready to put your creativity to work for a pair of brands that are trying to clean up the planet, see how to apply below.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Sr. Director of Brand Marketing, and your design and copy colleagues on all manner of marketing and creative execution projects.
  • Execute any and all 2D design deliverables (paid social, organic social, print, OOH, presentations, web assets, etc.)
  • Execute artful motion graphics for everything from social to web to C/TV ads.
  • Incorporate/direct the creation of brand photography, renderings, video shoots, and illustration/animation when necessary.
  • Be a design authority. You have type foundries on speed dial, know your favorite Pantone codes by heart, and can tell your Vignelli from your Sagmeister from your Glaser. You have a favorite movie title sequence (it was probably done by Saul Bass), and you’ve picked your favorite restaurant at least partially because of its menu design. You will be our historian and our trend predictor.
  • Interface with internal stakeholders and external agency and retail partners offering quality creative solutions with an ability to understand, translate, and synthesize business goals and objectives.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of our products, target audience, and competitor activities.
  • Take ownership over the performance of your design execution, learning from the results and incorporating insights into design evolution.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or similar foundational experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of related work experience
  • Experience at a top-tier design agency and/or in-house creative agency preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Expertise in all aspects of the creative process from concept to completion
  • Stellar conceptualization abilities when pitching ideas or new creative approaches
  • Strong ability to collaborate with key stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Adobe Creative Suite proficiency, with expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, and After Effects at minimum.
  • Experience with Canva, Final Cut, and Powerpoint
  • Ability to integrate new creative and project management tools into your workflow
