Full Job Description

The Business Analyst supports the Public Sector Operations leadership team on a project basis, addressing topics at the top of operations leader's agenda. Projects include analysis of new business requirements, assessing processing impacts to LOB and client, identifying process improvement opportunities, as well as managing business initiatives. Projects are typically team-based and include heavy interaction and collaboration with client, technology, and LOB leaders. We are seeking an Analyst to help lead project in solving complex problems and implementation issues critical to the business.

Specific capabilities required for the position include:

  • Defining and deconstructing problems
  • Prioritizing issues, analysis, and team capacity
  • Refining business requirements and workflow changes for optimal processing solutions
  • Identifying implications of workflow changes throughout process
  • Developing concise communication materials for all levels of the organization.
  • Working collaboratively with client, LOB team members, technology and product

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of analyst/program management experience
  • Experience and knowledge in reviewing business requirement, functional specification documents and other relevant documentation to develop procedures for LOB.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to details
  • Ability to understand workflow differences across multiple functions
  • Communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written), work well in cross-functional teams
  • Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools (absolutely required)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day shift

This position may require you to work non-traditional hours and/or additional hours as business needs arise
