Business Analyst

We have an opening for a full-time, permanent Business Analyst to join our talented, dynamic team in support of a large Federal Government customer. The candidate must be willing to work onsite 3 days a week in Falls Church, VA.

Duties
As a Business Analyst supporting Maveris programs, you will assist in the development, implementation and support of the project. In this role, a typical day will include:
- Improve client’s ability to create policies, develop and implement strategic goals and make well-informed and data-driven decisions.
- Develop meeting materials, such as agendas, meeting minutes and presentations as required.
- Track actions items and follow up with identified points of contact.
- Collect, compile and organize information and data including client presentations, status reports, spreadsheets and other information as needed.
- Look for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer.
- Collect, document and disseminate business requirements utilizing industry standard techniques.
- Prepare recommended courses of action, aligned with clients’ objectives and priorites.
- Develop processes and procedures to ensure business solutions meet end goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team of peers.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have or be able to obtain a secret clearance.
