Business Analyst for Risk

Lead a thoughtful and data-driven Risk analytics function. Start out by defining not where ADDI is but where ADDI belongs. Attack a problem identified within the business and reach ground-breaking results in an exceptional way, having end-to-end ownership and delivery along the way.

You are a self-starter and a creative problem-solver; You not only crunch numbers but also effectively tie your analytical insights to the greater business objectives. You are a fast learner quickly able to adapt to all that Risk analytics should cover (Credit, Fraud, Collections). You have a bias towards action and crave lots of responsibility and ownership, which will include:

  • Becoming a subject matter expert in our data and our portfolio, with ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends in complex data sets.
  • Developing effective portfolio monitoring tools, including company-facing dashboards and internal/external presentations.
  • Collaborating closely with other departments including Data Science, Finance, Capital Markets, and Sales to deliver Risk metrics and recommendations that support overall company growth.
  • Mentoring/managing junior analysts and interns.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in risk
  • English proficiency
  • Ability to handle large datasets using SQL and other programming languages
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret significant amounts of information accurately
  • Clear, effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to see the larger picture and think strategically
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • R or Python
  • Data science knowledge
  • Previous Fraud experience
  • Previous startup experience
