EMI Services, a wholly subsidiary of TechFlow, Inc., is looking hire summer interns to support our ongoing base operations and range operations across the country. Our growing, dynamic business has a back office located in Idaho Falls and a satellite office in Arlington, VA. There is an opportunity to work from and/or travel to some of our project sites throughout the country. The intern will function as a junior business analyst and will be assigned meaningful projects that have a concrete impact in one of three areas: Operations, Back Office Support, or Business Development. These tasks may include supporting new initiatives and performing cost/benefit analyses. Gain practical experience with varied business activities – performing work that has a tangible impact.

Multiple Locations: Remote; Patuxent River, MD; Arlington, VA; Idaho Falls, ID

Key Responsibilities

  • Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
  • Perform quality assurance
  • Define reporting and alerting requirements
  • Own and develop relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration
  • Help design, document and maintain system processes
  • Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team
  • Communicate key insights and findings to product team
  • Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a 3.0 average or better.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Ability to compile data, organize it, analyze it, and draw/present conclusions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or Google platforms.
  • Time management and critical thinking skills.
  • Driven performer who takes the initiative- our company culture is one of self-starter.
