Business Development, Identity Partnerships
Identity is at the core of everything we do within the Digital Media Solutions team at IQVIA. Connecting IQVIA offline data to the online digital marketing ecosystem in a privacy safe and IQVIA complaint manner unlocks innovation and opportunities for our advertisers and partners while also driving IQVIA revenue. To support this business, IQVIA is seeking an industry professional to support existing business and drive new revenue through strategic partnerships.
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth technical experience and understanding of ‘digital identity’ relative to offline data sets, the types of companies that leverage data in digital advertising (AdTech, CDP, DSP, DMP, Ad Agency, etc…) and fundamental knowledge of connecting offline data to online digital identity in a wide range of platforms to support data driven advertising.
Essential Functions
- Actively prospect new business opportunities within specified Accounts, Prospects and Territories
- Work with Partner Management to identify and prioritize an ongoing list of target Account and Prospect opportunities
- Work with Partner Management to establish and execute a comprehensive strategic growth / engagement plan for each target Account and Prospect. Monitor actions and report results against plans.
- Under the leadership of Partner Management, continuously monitor status of leads and opportunities to ensure a pipeline of opportunities is maintained.
- Lead the sales process, prepare and lead sales presentations, work with internal teams as needed to support comprehensive proposals, and secure Partnerships.
- Coordinate internally with various IQVIA teams including Contracts, Account Management, Legal, Privacy, and others during the presentation of new Partnerships and in an ongoing basis.
- Maintain visibility within Partner organization at all levels and with all applicable business units.
- Analyze potential opportunities and develop sales strategy plans for each target Account. Ensure appropriate strategy/solution is proposed to Partner. Monitor actions and results against plans.
- Report all sales related activities in CRM system.
- Prepare sales activity report for Partner Management as required.
- Actively network in the industry to establish relationships and to identify potential opportunities.
- Actively network internally at IQVIA to establish relationships and to identify potential opportunities with other aligned business units.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline
- Minimum 3 years related experience
- Solid understanding of the principles of the digital advertising ecosystem.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Outlook, and Internet)
- Excellent understanding of business and Industry trends and ability to interpret the trends relevant to the business
- Excellent analytical skills in assessing and interpreting customer business data
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must be self-directed and capable of prioritizing opportunities and performing multiple tasks
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to maintain demanding timelines
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
