Expected salary range of $89,100 to $99,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

LOCATION

This is a remote position. Occasional travel is required, to attend customer-site and in-office meetings as required. Candidates must reside in the United States. 

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The candidate will be a key driver in achieving our long-term growth objectives and expanding our market footprint. The primary focus will be on identifying, developing, and closing software solution sales that directly address the Utility Expense Management and Sustainability needs of our customers. This consultative sales role requires a proactive approach, strong relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of new technologies and software solutions.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ability to identify, prospect and contact high-level decision makers in respective businesses and cultivate client relationships with respective Fortune 500 companies.
  • Proactively manage a pipeline of customer activities in order to achieve financial targets.
  • Understand customers business objectives and current challenges as they relate to Utility Expense Management, and provide solutions to match the customer's needs.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to speak in front of groups and C-Level executives and senior decision makers.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree or higher in Business (Sales, Marketing, Finance or Engineering) and at least 5 years of experience in marketing and/or Business-to-business sales, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 
  • Experience with and have senior level contacts at businesses.
  • Experience presenting and closing high-level Fortune 500 customers
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, the ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and experience using databases
  • All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English.

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Utility Bill Management Experience, Energy, or Software Sales Experience preferred
  • Candidate must be a self-starter and be able to work independently and remotely.
  • Candidate must have access to a home office as there will be no regional field office.
