Business Development Manager - EcoCare

About the role:

The main mission of the Business Development Manger – EcoCare Contracts is to grow Schneider EcoCare Electrical Distribution membership contracts. The candidate will support the Company’s sales teams across the US in driving conversion of installed base customers from reactive to managed service contracts, engaging customers along with account managers to help clarify the value proposition in the different market segments.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify the key business segments and targeted customers for EcoCare
  • Identify bundling opportunities for EcoCare in Schneider’s new construction and modernization contracts
  • Create a commercial action plan to deliver the short-term and long-term orders and revenue
  • Drive or participate in customer-facing meetings at the various sales stages to present the technical value of the offer and clarify customer transformer maintenance practices and needs
  • Contribute to strategic studies, such as competition analysis, offer positioning in the local market

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Facilities Management or Engineering Management or equivalent from an accredited university
  • Understanding of software
  • Knowledge of the maintenance and operation of industrial and commercial power systems including data centers, manufacturing and healthcare
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the subject matter—power system operations, power system maintenance or facility management
  • Knowledge of competitive—direct or indirect—solutions
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work with all levels in an organization
  • Collaborative and influential communication style
