Business Development Representative

Tasks
• Utilize Automation Tools: Leverage automation to reach out to potential clients, manage follow-ups, and maintain relationships.
• Book of Business Management: Nurture and manage a portfolio of startup and midmarket accounts to drive sales growth.
• Messaging Experimentation: Experiment with different messaging strategies to determine what resonates with various personas.
• Inbound Qualification: Manage the qualification and nurturing of inbound leads to ensure they are ready for the sales team.
• Pipeline Generation: Manage the qualification and nurturing of prospects who meet our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) to build pipeline for the sales team.
• Customer Profiling and Feedback: Help shape our Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and gather feedback to inform product development.
• Collaboration with Growth Marketing: Partner with the Growth Marketing team to align on strategies and optimize outreach efforts.
• Familiarity with PLG (Product-Led Growth): Understand and leverage PLG strategies to drive user adoption and growth.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in a startup or tech environment.
• Familiarity with automation tools and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot (preferred), Salesforce).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to experiment with and adapt messaging based on data and feedback.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Experience or familiarity with PLG (Product-Led Growth) strategies is a plus.
