As the Business Operations Associate, you’ll join the Finance & BizOps team to play a critical role in driving company growth, optimizing business processes, and helping the company make better, smarter, faster decisions.
In this role, you'll be analyzing challenges from a qualitative and quantitative standpoint in order to create and operationalize business strategy. You will also get to own key business tasks, such as monthly business reporting and will have the opportunity to develop repeatable, scalable processes that will have broad impact.
About you:
- You have 2+ years of experience working in consulting, finance, or in an operations role at a venture-backed startup.
- You are analytical, with experience building models based on limited information.
- You thrive in an ambiguous environment and love creating structure amid chaos.
- You are extremely organized and detail oriented and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You love problem solving and are always looking for better, more efficient ways of doing things.
- You enjoy learning how something is currently being done and finding a better way of doing it.
- You have a positive attitude and believe that no task is too small.
In the first month, you'll:
- Get a foundational understanding of our product, teams, systems, and processes
- Collaborate with the Finance & BizOps team to prioritize strategic and operational tasks
- Engage with cross-functional teams to build relationships and understand their objectives and pain points
Within the first 3 months, you'll:
- Take ownership over monthly business reviews, assess our current company performance metrics, and assist in preparing for board meetings
- Make a recommendation and plan to improve our expense policies, internal controls, and corresponding systems
- Partner with Sales to assess, recommend, and implement automation solutions, such as workflow tools and CRM enhancements
- Deep dive into our data (e.g., net revenue retention, customer cohorts) to identify trends and provide actionable insights
Within the first 6 months, you'll:
- Support our growing GTM team by assessing current pre- and post-sales processes and analyzing sales data to identify areas for improvement and automation
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure the availability of relevant sales reports, collateral, training, and resources
- Conduct analyses on the opportunity size and feasibility of listing on marketplaces and the implications of various options
- Take ownership of managing and optimizing Salesforce to support the sales team's operational efficiency and drive customer relationship management
Within the first 12 months, you'll:
- Identify, scope, and execute critical initiatives that have high potential business impact (e.g., new market entry, scalable sales strategy, new monetization levers)
- Build a comprehensive repository of mobile subscription growth best practices related to RevenueCat features and tools
- Assess current expenses and explore opportunities for optimization or cost reduction
