This role is remote, but the candidate will need to be based in California. Preference is given to candidates based in Los Angeles. Also, the candidate will need to be bilingual in Spanish.

The role of the Care Specialist:
The Care Specialist will join the WeeCare’s BOOST program team and will support daycare providers and parents/guardians in our program. As our BOOST program expands, we are looking for someone excited about enabling childcare providers to focus on quality care and maximize their business growth and earning potential. You will support providers and parents through WeeCare’s child care management app, which allows childcare providers to digitize their entire operation and run their business efficiently from their mobile devices.. This role will also assist with developing resources and materials to support parents and providers, as needed. You are the representative for WeeCare, and we want all our providers and families to feel welcomed and at ease in our program.
In this role, you will:
- Onboard: You will learn how to onboard providers and parents by going through the experience yourself. This will help you understand your role and better support our participants. Once you are an expert, you will support our team in matching providers to families looking for daycare.
- Enrollment: Learn about daycare provider needs to identify families ready to enroll! You will support them from that first phone call to enrolling with our BOOST child care providers..
- Childcare Matching: Learn all about our BOOST program and how we support child care providers to optimize their businesses as well as match with families looking for child care in their communities. You will gain a deep understanding of what parents look for in their child’s care and help them find the right provider.
- Manage: You will manage communications with and give support to several providers and parents in our program. Attention to detail and ability to document communications is important.
- Data & Optimization: We like to learn from our experiences. You will be responsible for metrics that will help our team meet our program goals as well as inform how we can improve our program.
- Details: Sometimes, you will have special requests or cases. Flexibility and adaptability is important to succeed in this role as you will need to have a solution oriented, curious, and growth mindset approach to challenges.
You'll excel at this role if you have:
- Previous experience working remotely in a customer-focused facing role
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Slack, and Google Suite and desire to learn new tech software
- Understanding how to overcome objections and blockers to keep things moving.
- Someone who can overcome objections/blockers and is solution-oriented.
- Strong communication skills, you will be interacting with both parents and providers.
- Experience with growing educational, nonprofit, or training online programs
- Self starter characteristics and are goal oriented
- Working cross collaboratively
We really like candidates for this role if you have the following:
- Being Spanish/English bilingual is a requirement.
- Bonus: Background previously working for a marketplace.
- Experience working in any of these areas: marketplace, government, educational programs, or business development.
- Passionate about education, child development, youth, and making an impact.
- Knowledge of the childcare industry and its challenges.
- Previous startup experience, bonus if it has been in tech.
- Enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic environment with little supervision, someone that is a go-getter.
