Organization Description

Centralized Transaction Operations (CTO) provides a wide range of global operational support and services for retail, commercial, treasury, asset wealth management and credit card customers. CTO has approximately 4,000 employees.

Payment Services provides a variety of services for both individual and corporate customers across all JPMorgan Chase lines of business. Core operations of payment processing include the posting, capture and clearing of checks and processing and movement of cash through the network. The business units within the group continually implement cutting edge technology and their commitment has distinguished them as industry leaders. Payment Services has approximately 600 employees.

The Payments and Cash Management Product delivers technology, process and controls to support our customers and clients seamlessly in these distinct money movement mechanisms. Cash management delivers both Cash in Transit and Cash on Hand for a variety of cash customers (Branches, ATMs, FIs, Retailers, Federal Reserve) using a combination of in-house and supplier managed functions. Check management executes the mainstream check processing via imaging along with the support functions such as Remediation, Float Management, Exceptions and Returns.

Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves our Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. The Cash and Check Product Team is revolutionizing the face of customer service and operations for both the customer and employee experience. As a Project Management & Delivery Lead, VP you will work directly for the Program Director and Product Owner.

Description

The Program Lead/Navigator will be responsible for managing complex technology projects running across multiple CCB Lines of Business and impacting every Operations function in CCB.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drives and influences the roadmap of the product to enable business goals
  • Navigates the product team and community in the execution of complex roadmaps
  • Ensures product roadmap is delivered in accordance with all Risk, Architecture and other relevant firm-wide guidelines
  • Coordinates resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more area products
  • Manages budget for assigned roadmap or department, monitors progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly.
  • Coaches and mentors less experienced team members and may also include people management responsibilities
  • Builds teams that succeed by continually assessing deliverables and aligning resources with the appropriate skills
  • Partner with product owner and technical leadership to deliver and execute on a roadmap
  • Guides implementation of high quality technology solutions through collaboration and leadership
  • Identifies new opportunities to influence the product and firm's technology strategy
  • Establishes meaningful relationships for the benefit of the team to foster alignment and collaboration across the organization

Requirements

  • Proven leadership in large, complex program execution
  • Expert in Agile tools and methods
  • 10+ years in Technological, Organizational and/or Operational Change Management
  • Degree in Business Management or Computer Science, MBA a plus
  • Prior experience in stakeholder management
  • Ability to Partner with internal and external to the product stakeholders and influence them to achieve product goals
  • Experience in Conflict Resolution and Negotiation
  • Strategic thinking with respect to industry trends and transformation; ability to morph into simpler processes
  • Customer obsessed methodology to support transformation
