The Role
We are seeking a COO who can be the backbone of our operational journey, ensuring that as we grow, we remain committed to our people, our vision, mission, and values. This role is not just about driving efficiency, but also about fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and heard, making SOAX the best place to belong. As a vital member of the Core Team, the COO will report directly to the CEO, playing a pivotal role in steering our mission forward.
What Will You Do
- Provide day-to-day leadership and management to the organization;
- Drive operational excellence by continuously improving the ARR/FTE metric;
- Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth, helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning;
- Ensure SOAX adheres to industry standards, regulations, and best practices, proactively identifying areas of risk and implementing strategies to maintain full compliance across all operations;
- Drive the company to achieve profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives within the responsible business areas.
- Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.);
- Develop and maintain an employee value proposition that attracts and retains top talent;
- Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, development, and retention strategies;
- Foster a culture of belonging, ensuring ongoing employee engagement and satisfaction;
- Champion the company's mission and values, ensuring alignment in every decision and action;
- Drive the development and implementation of plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization;
- Evaluate and harmonize the toolset used across all teams;
- Lead with empathy, actively listen, and engage with team members across all level.

- Empathetic Leader: Understands human nuances, approachable, and leads by empowering and trusting.
- Clear Communicator: Has a knack for conveying complicated concepts simply, ensuring all team members, regardless of background or expertise, understand the essence.
- AI Enthusiast & Process Maven: Passionate about leveraging AI for business efficiency and has a sharp eye for designing and refining processes.
What You Need To Succeed
- Senior Leadership in High-Growth Environments: At least 5 years in executive positions within rapidly scaling product companies, showcasing strategic foresight and operational acumen;
- Team Development: Proven track record in mentoring, developing, and empowering team members to reach their full potential.
- Startup Proficiency: Hands-on experience in managing key startup operations, including HR, budgeting, product development, customer success, and marketing.
- Change Management: Demonstrated experience in business transformation, adept at navigating change, making informed decisions, and executing action plans effectively.
