Full Job Description

As a Business Management Associate, you'll drive structure and discipline around F&BM business processes including regular and ad hoc communications with stakeholders and leadership team members, particularly in relation to Merchant Services Pipeline management reporting and other client performance/management updates like Renewals and Attrition. You will utilize various data sources and Business Intelligence tools (SQL queries, Essbase, SalesForce Client Central, Tableau, etc.) to facilitate reporting to stakeholders in support of assigned tasks. Will be responsible for optimization of existing Alteryx and Tableau workflows/files as well as developing and documenting new ones in support of changing business needs in a highly collaborative environment focused on business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Execution of business processes in order to deliver various reports in support of MS Pipeline performance management
  • Work with team Pipeline lead to ensure information is accurately extracted and summarized/packaged into an appropriate presentation formats for the various audiences
  • Communicate with MS BDs and RMs to disseminate various reporting, including Attrition/Risk, Renewals and Pipeline activity and collect relevant feedback from them to incorporate into updates for senior leadership team
  • Maintain and improve Business Intelligence workflows and related processes
  • Assist in development of reporting for the organization and automation of such as applicable Holistic updates to management on a regular basis
  • Provide robust analytics moving the business forward with data driven decisions
  • Effectively communicate/listen with stakeholders to derive action items and execute on those action items
  • Develop data visualization and reporting using Tableau for Merchant Services Field as well as executive level audience

Qualifications:

Successful candidates must be highly organized and efficient self-starters able to function effectively in a fast paced, results oriented environment. Acute attention to detail coupled with proven experience in understanding financial concepts unique to the payments sector and analyzing financial data is mandatory.

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline such as engineering, business, finance or mathematics
  • 3-5 years of related experience in field analytics and strategic reporting
  • Analytical problem solver with ability to assess multiple inputs while considering overall strategic objective
  • Experience working with large and disparate relational databases; HIVE, Impala, Teradata and Oracle experience preferred;
  • Understand nuances in data management and analysis and how that effects the analysis that can be performed. Use this to consult with internal customers and management to design robust processes to support decision making in Merchant Services F&BM and Field teams
  • Hands on development and maintenance experience in Business Intelligence and data analysis tools such as SQL, Cognos, Excel, Alteryx and Business Objects to create analytic insights for data visualization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Data mining skills with applied statistics experience preferred
  • Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools is also preferred
