About the role:

We are in search of a reliable and highly self-motivated professional to directly our partner who is a growing Accounting firm in AU. You will work closely with the Financial Planning team and their customers.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Assist the FP team and the practice principal with efficient running of the Financial Planning service area
  • Provide excellent client service, including being proactive in addressing client queries
  • Assist Advisers in preparation for client meetings and client reviews
  • Assist Advisers with meeting file notes, research and insurance quoting
  • Prepare and collate Statements of Advice & Records of Advice
  • Manage calendars, coordinate appointments & travel for the Financial Planning team
  • Coordinate implementation with fund managers, insurers and administrators
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and rapport with stakeholders, providers and administrators
  • Maintain the integrity of the client database
  • Assist Advisers with meeting compliance requirements and maintaining licensee provisions and legislation
  • Collaborate and work in an open plan environment alongside Accounting & Bookkeeping teams

Get this opportunity if you have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a Client Services Manager type role
  • Experience in Financial Planning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in XPLAN or at least willing and capable of learning the tool
  • A strong client service focus
  • Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent administrative, organisational and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well with others, often under pressure, and be adaptable
  • A desire to commence or progress a career in Financial Planning
  • Have a background in AU accounting or finance

What happens after you submit your application?

The whole process takes around 4 weeks:

  • There will be 3-4 interviews and a possible assessment from our client partner. You will undergo an initial interview, a culture interview, and 1-2 interviews with our cool client. This will run for about 1-2 weeks but we will let you know if we need to ramp it up. Be yourself and have fun.
  • We will constantly communicate with you as to the development of your application. You can also directly communicate with us to ask us about the status of your application.
  • If all goes well, we complete the reference check and provide other necessary requirements so we can offer you the job right away.
