Role Overview

J.P. Morgan is seeking a talented, ambitious and creative Associate to produce content that helps generate business across the Commercial Bank's (CB) client base for the J.P. Morgan Payments business.

The Commercialization Associate (CA) role is a new and exciting opportunity to create copy and design product packaging for client-facing sales materials across the financial spectrum of receivables, payables, and liquidity. The CA is responsible for the content development of effective product sales materials that result in either new revenue or the successful retention of existing clients. They will also help drive the external marketing/commercialization efforts by coordinating across the bank to develop external product campaigns.

An effective CA is a creative thinker, copy writer and storyteller with the ability to distill complex concepts into simplified language that resonates with clients. Strong candidates will have demonstrated skills in graphic design and copy writing with an interest in overall content management strategy. The CA must be able to effectively project manage with attention to detail while engaging with various stakeholders the firm to develop content.

Position Responsibilities

  • Using J.P. Morgan brand standards, develop, design, and create compelling and innovative content
  • Working with subject matter experts, simplify complex product explanations with compelling narratives for our clients
  • Translate facts and features of subject material into visually interesting graphics that convey information in support of winning new business
  • Manage and create a range of client facing and internal communications templates
  • Work closely with Commercialization team managers to understand business strategy and execute on content goals
  • Partner with a large number of internal teams to source content
  • Follow strict adherence to corporate guidelines on branding, legal and compliance requirements
  • Make recommendations for future content and best practices and ensure proper and consistent messaging across Commercialization content library

Qualifications:

  • BS in Marketing or Communications preferred
  • 2 - 4 years of hands-on experience writing and creating presentations and/or marketing materials required
  • Strong project management and organization skills required
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and editorial skills required
  • Graphic design experience with a strong portfolio strongly desired
  • Advanced ability to tell a compelling story
  • Ability to interact, influence and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Proven self-starter, detail oriented, well organized and able to multi-task effectively
  • High level of independence, energy and integrity, demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and accepts accountability
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically, advanced capabilities using PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and other publishing software preferred
