Job Description

Under the direction of the Corporate Counsel & DPO, the Compliance Manager is responsible for the effective management of compliance program initiatives including, but not limited to: compliance policy review and implementation, conducting internal compliance program risk assessments, supporting external audits and remediations and other specific tasks associated with the day-to-day compliance operations of Renaissance. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the ongoing day-to-day execution of the organization’s annual corporate compliance program initiatives 
  • Annually review, update and enhance compliance policies and partner with stakeholders to ensure policies reflect organizational goals and best practices 
  • Identify policy gaps and draft new policies 
  • Socialize corporate policies and respond to internal questions about the policies 
  • Design and implement internal compliance awareness strategies  
  • Support compliance integration processes associated with integrating newly acquired companies into the enterprise-wide compliance program 
  • Proactively identify and resolve compliance concerns raised by and multiple stakeholders, including operational leaders, to provide timely resolution of compliance concerns 
  • Partner with HR to support the governance prong of ESG at Renaissance 
  • Partner with Contracts Team and Privacy Analyst to identify, monitor and operationalize contractual compliance requirements 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 2 – 5 years of relevant compliance experience 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess situations and make accurate observations in the workplace.   
  • Requires ability to work both collaboratively and independently 
  • Superior written and communication skills 

Preferred Experience & Qualifications 

  • CCEP – Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional 
  • Compliance experience in the SAAS industry  
  • Prior experience partnering on cross-functional teams such as HR, Training, Contracts, Global Markets 
  • Prior experience handling international compliance requirements, specifically Anti-Corruption and OFAC requirements 
  • Strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment 
  • Superb communication skills  
  • Ability to translate complex compliance requirements to stakeholders in an easily understandable manner 
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and similar tools. 

Additional Information

Salary Range: $82,200 – $100,000. 

This range is based on national market data and may vary by location.
