About our Team

The Content Associate position is a member of the ClinicalPath Digital Content Team. This role is responsible for managing a subset of ClinicalPath Oncology Pathways (clinical decision support pathways). You will apply content transformation and project management skills, while collaborating with pharmacists, oncologists, and other project leads.

About the Role

The Content Associate is expected to develop foundational knowledge of the ClinicalPath product and strategy. You will become familiar and understand medical terminology in specific assigned diagnoses. As a subject matter expert in the pathways in which you manage you will provide customer support to ClinicalPath users when questions arise about pathway content.

You will gain proficiency in a proprietary software used to update pathway content. Additionally, there may be opportunities for the Content Associate to either assist in or manage departmental-level projects/initiatives.

Note: While the ClinicalPath Content Team is primarily based in Pittsburgh, PA, all employees work remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Having at least a year of work experience in a related field.
  • Being proficient/familiar with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio).
  • Possessing excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret multi-step pathway algorithms.
  • Having great attention to detail, communication, writing, organizational, and project management skills
  • Having ability to assimilate knowledge quickly and learn new computer software applications as needed
  • Being able to work well under deadlines
  • Having ability to work with self- direction, as well as in a team setting, to handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Being available to attend and/or facilitate meetings at 5:00pm ET throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Able to assist in the pathway/content maintenance and execution process
  • Be able to demonstrate proficiency in proprietary authoring tool
  • Have an ability to demonstrate a broad understanding of medical terminology
  • Be able to interpret and accurately communicate clinical concepts for specific pathways either internally or to customers

  • Provide quality and timely customer support
  • Be involved in departmental tasks and/or initiatives
  • Have ability to demonstrate foundational knowledge of the ClinicalPath product, strategy, and philosophies
