The Role

Solera is looking for a B2B Content Strategy Manager to help us build a world-class, always-on content engine. In this newly created position, we are looking for an innovative storyteller who will use data and insights to identify content opportunities, own the end-to-end content creation process across channels and formats, and ensure our content makes an impact on lead generation and customer acquisition/engagement. Our ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and creative leader with the ability to collaborate across a global marketing team, simply and succinctly communicate complex ideas, execute plans flawlessly, and work well under pressure.

What You’ll Do

  • Engage with leaders and stakeholders in Performance Marketing, Global Events, Communications and other teams to develop a clear and engaging content strategy
  • Establish and develop key metrics to track content effectiveness and perform content audits to continuously identify and prioritize content gaps
  • Establish processes and systems to ensure timely, accurate and impactful content development and publication.
  • Effectively communicate plan to develop and amplify content that addresses business goals and customer/prospect needs.
  • Manage the end-to-end content creation process with corporate marketing colleagues and collaborators across performance marketing
  • Remain current on content strategy innovations, best practices, tools, and techniques. Provide insight and document best practices. to contribute to group knowledge and innovation.
  • Help ensure understanding and amplification of corporate key messages
  • Write compelling copy for marketing collateral (blogs, webpages, video scripts, white papers, and more
  • Engage and direct agency partners and freelancers on content production

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years B2B content strategy and writing, preferably in SaaS or automotive
  • Highly curious, idea-generator and researcher who thinks like a journalist
  • Extremely strong marketing copywriter and wordsmith – must have excellent grammar, spelling and be highly focused on delivering error free content
  • Proven expert in strategizing, planning and executing content across multiple channels, for multiple audiences/personas
  • Understanding of content performance metrics – with the ability to develop a hypothesis from data, see what is working and what is not, and pivot future content plans accordingly
  • Highly proficient in content and production best practices, tools and processes.
  • Foundational understanding of content-driven SEO working closely with web optimization team and SEO agency to optimize content for organic traffic.
  • Ability to understand competing priorities, weigh relative merits in relation to overall corporate and marketing strategy, adjust as priorities evolve, and build alignment and consensus on the way forward.
  • Skillful at managing leadership and stakeholder expectations.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
