The Content Writer is responsible for writing and producing engaging collateral that drives key organizational messages and initiatives and elevates Public Sector Business Unit reputation for thought leadership.

The Content Writer will produce short form and long form copy for various channels ranging from public relations, social media ads, to longer descriptive white papers. The Content Writer compiles and organizes compelling messaging to Public Sector’s target audience through marketing strategies. Works cross functionally to support deliverables amongst Sales, Services, and Product departments.

Essential Key Responsibilities

  • Creates, maintains, organizes and edits content ensuring accuracy for a variety of mediums inclusive of online blog, social media, white papers / reports, emails & videos.
  • Support the success of the proposal process by providing content as marketing insight into proposals.
  • Creates marketing content for both internal and external facing product materials and presentations. 
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.

Additional Skills and/or Certifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in content creation and copywriting.
  • Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization) best practices.
  • Experience in the Public Sector/Government sector preferred.
  • Experience with Marketo and content management systems
  • Excellent verbal, written and research skills with a high degree of professional, creative and technical writing ability with a portfolio of writing samples.
  • Self-driven to work autonomously on multiple priorities with competing deadlines in a corporate environment where priorities continuously shift.

$75,000 - $132,000 a year
