The Role:

This role will report into the Senior Content Marketing Manager and cross-collaborate with others in Marketing & Product.

We are seeking an experienced Content Writer with excellent communications and copywriting skills to join our Content team. As the Content Writer, you will be responsible for planning, producing, and distributing content that converts across multiple touch points.

Must have a passion for content creation and storytelling to achieve business goals.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Create compelling and original content across different platforms, including articles, blog posts, social media updates, press releases, and marketing materials
  • Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to generate valuable insights and ideas
  • Write clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy that adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop content strategies that support marketing objectives and resonate with the target audience.
  • Optimise content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic visibility and drive traffic to our website.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, readability, and adherence to style guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, content marketing best practices, and emerging technologies to incorporate fresh ideas and innovative approaches into content creation.
  • Work closely with designers, illustrators, and videographers to enhance content with visual elements when necessary.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for new content initiatives.
  • Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality.

What you’ll need 👇

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a content writer or similar role, preferably in a digital marketing or advertising agency.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Demonstrated ability to write engaging, informative, and persuasive content across various topics and formats.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword research tools to optimise content for search engines.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and basic understanding of HTML.
  • Solid understanding of content marketing principles and best practices.
  • Excellent research skills and ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible content.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
