The opportunity
We are seeking a Content Writer for the APAC region. This role is a full-time position and central to creating high-quality compelling written content that resonates with the English-language market in the region, with an eye for the subtle nuances required to engage in the tone of voice necessary for the different countries within the region.
Your skills in creating a diverse array of content materials is essential. They include: news articles, interviews, blog posts and long form articles, custom content such as case studies, press releases and sponsored articles and email campaigns. Your content pieces will help generate a larger mindshare and grow TA’s footprint within the region.
What you'll do
- Working closely with our sales and marketing teams to glean a better understanding of the company's brand voice in the market; as well as producing custom content that will resonate with our clients.
- Writing and producing content online, covering stories on a wide cross-section of technology sectors, businesses and upcoming trends in the market.
- Establish and form a strong professional network with IT industry SMEs in order to help build TA’s brand awareness.
- Content Creation: Produce well-researched, original, and engaging written content for various marketing channels, such as website pages, blogs, social media posts, email campaigns, press releases, and other marketing collateral, targeting the APAC region.
- Drive awareness on our social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter.
- From time to time, you will need to adapt content to suit linguistic and cultural differences within the APAC region, ensuring accuracy and relevance for the target audience.
- Content Planning and Strategy: Contribute to the development of content strategies and plans for the APAC region, based on market research, industry trends, and customer insights.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to understand and adhere to the brand voice, messaging, and guidelines, ensuring consistency across all content produced for the APAC region.
- Content Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit custom content from freelancers to ensure it is error-free, grammatically correct, and adheres to the company's style guide and branding guidelines.
- Market Research: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, competitor analysis, and market insights for the APAC region, and use this knowledge to inform content creation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product teams, to gather information and insights, and ensure content aligns with overall marketing goals and objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement in the team to optimise operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
Who you are
- Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
- A key skill is to produce clear and concise content and to meet strict editorial deadlines.
- Liaising with key industry figures to expand and explore story ideas and opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, proficiency in one or more local languages within the APAC region is not required but certainly a plus!
- Proven experience in content writing, with a strong portfolio of written content for various marketing channels.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword research tools.
- Understanding of cultural nuances and sensitivities within the APAC region, and ability to adapt content accordingly
- Ability to understand and adhere to brand voice, messaging, and guidelines, while also maintaining creativity and originality in content creation.
- Strong editing and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for grammar, punctuation, and style.
- Familiarity with market research techniques and ability to apply market insights to content creation.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
