Contract Content Marketing Writer

As the Contract Content Marketing Writer at WhatConverts, you will write and promote insightful traffic-driving content that converts to trial sign ups and demos. 

This is a fully-remote, contract opportunity that can be conducted from anywhere within 3 hours of US Eastern Time Zone.

In this role you'll get to:

  • Copywrite for marketing projects such as blogs, landing pages, video content, social media posts, email campaigns, partner programs, and more!
  • Create original, highly-engaging and easy-to-understand content by conducting in-depth research on marketing-related topics (or any other relevant industry) that resonates with the target audience and also elicits them to take action
  • Collaborate directly with the marketing team to provide compelling headlines that can be translated into visual story telling (i.e. graphics, illustrations, animations) and showcases WhatConverts' values and mission
  • Monitor media performance using KPIs, pinpoint gaps in content output, and identify areas to improve campaigns
  • Optimize content for lead generation using SEO, identify the audience's needs, regularly recommend new topics, improve readability of existing content and more!

What we're looking for:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years copywriting in an in-house or agency role (SaaS/Tech industry preferred)
  • Portfolio of relevant established work
  • Firm grasp of solving the readers' pain points, incorporating authenticity and intrigue
  • Understanding of SEO and marketing principles
  • Grasps difficult concepts quickly and translates them into easily understandable concepts
  • Collaborates frequently with the Visual Designer to articulate recommendation for accompanying illustrations, graphics and animations
